Amadio’s Wine & Tapas BarIt is great to see a premium wine producer like Amadio Wines enter the fray with their new wine and tapas bar in central Kingscote. The Maître d’ Susie and chef Christine provide both wonderful service and great food. The menu features a delicious selection of high quality Italian style tapas, antipasto and gourmet pizzas. Wine tastings are free and include an extensive range of local KI wines, as well as wines from other wine regions in South Australia. Table 88 is a newly opened tapas bar on Deep Gully Road at beautiful Stokes Bay on Kangaroo Island’s North Coast. Chef Jess Mickam has prepared a delicious Mediterranean inspired tapas menu featuring local oysters, seafood ceviche, chimichurri lamb skewers made with local Southrock lamb and much more. Local drinks including Drunken Drone beer, Colony Cove cider and cocktails featuring KI Spirits are available to enjoy with your meal. The views from Table 88 are beautiful and look out over Stokes Bay.
After lunch, you can visit the “secret beach” at Stokes Bay. This pristine white sandy beach is not visible when you pull up at the Stokes Bay carport. But if you look carefully you'll see a sign “to the Beach” follow that and you will be in for a surprise.
