The hub of the lodge. A generous space with a cosy wood fire and comfy leather sofas, it is also the guest dining area. On the entertainment front the lounge has a library of natural history books and general reading, a stereo system, plus DVDs, CDs and board games. The lounge is the ideal place to unwind after enjoying Kangaroo Island's spectacular sights.
DeckSpanning the length of the lodge the spacious front deck gives us a seamless link to the world beyond - a place to enjoy an evening drink and absorb the panorama of Backstairs Passage and the wildlife close by. The deck is popular for al fresco dining and during summer guests often have breakfast on the deck.
The days at Sea Dragon take their cue from the guests and your environs. The connections to the world all around us - to shifting light, moving tides and seasonal breezes - are strong. Kangaroo Island has a lot to see and do; at the same time, the lodge makes a perfect retreat for simply kicking back and being with nature. Things to do nearbyCopyright Quentin Chester 2010
