Sea Dragon Lodge is nestled atop Kangaroo Island’s spectacular north-eastern shores on a 250 acre seafront estate.
From the balcony you gaze down to our very own Pink Bay where a break in the coastal headland reveals waves lapping
across our sheltered beach. Beyond lie the moody waters of historic Backstairs Passage and Fleurieu Peninsula’s
imposing southern flanks. It’s a grand vista: captivating, ever-changing and always rewarding.

Private access to our secluded beach - Pink Bay. The Lodge is ideally positioned, offering mesmerising views of the ocean including the Pages Island group and the mainland. Explore nature’s wonders on our doorstep. Walk the bush. Fossick along our shoreline. Fish from the Cove. Or just bask in the solitude.

Sea Dragon at Pink Bay is ideal for one or more couples, families with older children, taking the parents on a Kangaroo Island getaway or that unique honeymooner destination - offering peace and privacy. The main house accommodates a combined maximum of 6 people 2 queen size beds. The property is not suitable for young children, and is available for those 16 years and over accompanied by adult/s and is unavailable for 'schoolie' and sporting club groups.

Our inviting lounge catches the natural light and is warmed by a log-fire glow on cooler nights. The open plan kitchen/lounge/dining is well designed and equipped.

From the beginning of October, 2011 the fully self contained adjoining apartment comprising 2 queen beds will be available for rental IN CONJUNCTION with the main house. Ideal if you are looking for a property that requires up to a total of 10 people.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

2 night minimum low season: 3 night minimum school holidays & long weekends: Easter 4 night minimum: Peak Season 5 night minimum.

When making your reservation, please advise of bed configuration. A queen bed is made up for each 2 persons, occasionally guests request two separate rooms. WATER - the property relies TOTALLY on RAINWATER. We ask that you use water sparingly please.

TELEPHONE - there is a telephone at the property for incoming and OUTGOING LOCAL ISLAND CALLS only. Telstra mobiles work well on KI, most other service providers have no or limited service on KI.

Please observe the NO SMOKING inside the house.

Sea Dragon Lodge is 26 kms from the nearest township of Penneshaw and in easy driving distance to American River and Kingscote for restaurants and shops. Cape Willoughby is a Lighthouse close by, well worth exploring but has no shopping or restaurant facility. Please take all food/beverages and personal toiletries with you.

The owners may, at times, require a $500 bond on a booking. If this is the case you will be advised at the time of your initial booking or on our responding to your enquiry.
